Skrutkové kompresory
Skrutkové kompresory o IKS patria do skupiny rotačných kompresorov. Tým sa myslia stroje, ktoré podporujú objem plynov cez otáčanie vzájomne prepojených, špirálových rotorov. Toto môže byť mazané olejom alebo aj bez oleja. Ďalej sa rozlišujú kompresory bez sušenia, kompresory s integrovaným chladením a skladovaním stlačeného vzduchu.

Operating principle:
The surrounding air is sucked in by the intake suction filter (1) and flows through the air regulator equipped with a stage-free air register which adapts itself to the current need for compressed air. The suction regulator is controlled by an electrical system connected to a pressure switch. Oil, which was previously treated in a filter (6), is then injected into air that was previously compressed in the screw stage (2). The oil injection ensures the lubrication, sealing and cooling of the screw stage. The mixture of oil and air is compressed in the space between the screws and then flows into the oil separation tank (3), where most of the oil from the mixture is precipitated. From the separation tank, the air flows through the fine filter (4) and the minimum pressure valve (5) into the air cooler (9), where it is cooled to a temperature 10°C higher than the ambient temperature. The oil accumulating in the oil separation tank is dranied through a tube (10) into the compressor stage. The oil flow through the oil cooler (8) is controlled by a thermostat (7).
Suction and oil filters are equipped with pollution sensors.
