Ball bushings are equivalent to rolling bearings, but they are intended for longitudinal movements. A cage holds and guides the circulating balls, which are rolled on the guide shaft which is mounted on both sides and returned via a channel. This creates a linear movement. This makes the installation of the guide system safer.
